Former television host of “Evening Magazine,” John Curley, returns to Walla Walla to host Entwine 2013 on Saturday, October 12 at Walla Walla Community College’s Dietrich Dome.
Entwine is an annual wine reception, dinner and auction that recognizes the 2013 Distinguished Graduates of its award-winning programs while raising scholarship funds.
Doors open at 5:00pm with the silent auction and wine reception, featuring 22 wineries – each with a graduate or current student of the college’s highly-acclaimed Enology and Viticulture program pouring an outstanding wine crafted by their winery.
At 6:30pm, John Curley takes over the main stage for the wine-paired gourmet four-course dinner and Live Auction portion of the evening.
This year, Entwine’s Live Auction features one-of-a-kind lots including a collection of eight 3 liter bottles from the winery members of the Advisory Board and a wine country excursion with private tastings at Leonetti, Cayuse and Pepper Bridge wineries hosted by Dr. Alan Busacca, the Director of WWCC’s Enology and Viticulture program.
